WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE DURING THE TRIP?
The weather during your 5-day trip can vary considerably due to differences in altitude, location, and time of day. You will visit Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Humantay Lake, where you may experience sunny skies, cloudy conditions, cool temperatures, and occasional rainfall.
From November to April, rainfall is generally more frequent, particularly in Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Cloudy skies and occasional showers are common during these months, although rain can occur at any time of the year.
From May to October, the weather is generally drier, with more sunny days and colder temperatures, especially in the early mornings and evenings.
At Humantay Lake, temperatures are generally colder due to the high altitude. Strong winds, low temperatures, and rapidly changing weather conditions are also possible.
Because this trip includes destinations at different elevations, you may notice significant changes in temperature and weather conditions throughout the journey.
