CALLANGA FAMILY EXPLORERS will not disclose your personal information, except when necessary to ensure your safety, well-being, or health during your trip, such as information regarding allergies, medications, medical treatments, dietary restrictions, or other relevant requirements.

Payments & Deposits
- A 40% deposit of the total package price is required to secure your reservation. The remaining 60% balance must be paid at least one day prior to the start of your tour or excursion. Please note that all confirmed bookings are subject to a non-refundable charge.
For reservations made less than 30 days before the tour or excursion departure date, CALLANGA FAMILY EXPLORERS will verify and confirm the availability of entrance tickets, train tickets, and other required services before proceeding with the booking. This process helps ensure a smooth and successful reservation experience, avoiding any inconveniences during your stay in Cusco.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
The value of the services will not be refundable when the cancellation is due to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, strikes, accidents, protests, or any other events beyond the control of Callanga Family Explorers. If you cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing, explaining the reason for the cancellation, to our email: info@callangafamilyexplorers.com.
If you wish to change the date of your travel itinerary, a penalty will apply depending on the circumstances involved (including additional costs for rescheduling tickets and entrance fees, as well as changes to accommodation reservations).
Cancellation or rescheduling 32 days before the start of the services has a penalty of 40% of the total package cost (equivalent to the full prepayment).
Cancellation or rescheduling 20 days before the start of the services has a penalty of 50% of the total package cost.
Cancellation or rescheduling 14 days before the start of the services has a penalty of 100% of the total package cost.
Special Discounts
- Peruvian travelers with a valid National ID (DNI), visitors holding a passport from an Andean Community country (Colombia, Ecuador, or Bolivia), and international students with a valid green ISIC Card are eligible for special discounts. We also offer discounted rates for travelers under 18 years of age.
Important Information
- Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are limited and often sell out quickly. We strongly recommend booking well in advance to secure your preferred travel dates.
- To enter Peru, your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the country.
- Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, and Chile may enter Peru using their national identity card.
- To enter Machu Picchu, visitors must present the original document used to make the reservation, whether a passport or national identity card.
- We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during your journey.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION: Once the required deposit has been received, we will send you a formal booking confirmation. The deposit paid will be applied toward the total cost of your tour or travel package.
BALANCE PAYMENT: The remaining balance must be paid at least one day prior to the start of your tour or excursion. Payment is preferably made upon your arrival in Peru and in cash. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, an additional 6% processing fee will apply to cover the bank and payment gateway charges.
CURRENCY ACCEPTED: At Callanga Family Explorers, we currently accept payments exclusively in U.S. Dollars (USD).
PAYMENT METHODS: At Callanga Family Explorers, we accept the following payment methods:
- Credit or Debit Card Payment Link: We can generate a personalized payment link for the amount due through secure payment platforms such as Izipay.
- PayPal Payment: Our PayPal account is info@callangafamilyexplorers.com. Alternatively, we can send a payment request directly to your email address through PayPal.
- Western Union Money Transfer: The recipient’s details will be provided upon request to complete the transfer.
- Bank Transfer: Payments can be made directly to our corporate bank account with BBVA.
